Pet Care Specialist (Dog Walker & Pet Sitter)
Love animals? Prefer being outside instead of stuck at a desk? This job might be for you!
Every day is different, your “office” is outdoors and you’ll spend your time caring for dogs and cats in their homes.
What you’ll do:
- Walk dogs and provide exercise
- Care for cats (feeding, water, litter box)
- Drop-in visits when owners are away
- Give pets attention, companionship and structure
- Send updates to clients after each visit via an app
Requirements:
- Our service area is Wyckoff and nearby towns — applicants should be comfortable commuting to this area for scheduled visits
- Comfortable with cats and dogs
- Reliable, responsible and able to work independently
- Enjoy being outside in all weather (rain, heat, cold—we’re out there!)
- Strong communication skills
- Must pass a background check
- Have a car
